This reminded me of the concept of a “Museum in a Box”, which would follow on neatly from the ‘Curate an Exhibition‘ task outlined in this earlier post. Once students had decided what objects / images / written sources could be used in an exhibition about a key topic/theme/individual, they could then actually create a ‘doll’s house’ version of the gallery in a shoebox.
Imagine how amazing the display would look like afterwards if it approached something like the one shown above!
