Dear [*FNAME*],
I hope you are keeping well and that you've been able to make some good use of your guest access to ActiveHistory.
My school closed down last week due to the Coronavirus outbreak and so I am using ActiveHistory as a distance learning solution for my students. I have put together a comprehensive list of all the ActiveHistory simulations in one place. I hope that you will find this useful for your own students.
For the duration of this crisis I'll also be making these simulations freely available to all teachers who need them, so if you know of any other history teachers who might find this helpful, please direct them to ActiveHistory where they can obtain a free temporary guest password.
My current teaching this week consists of the tasks which accompany the following simulations which you may be interested in trying out with your own clases:
Age 11-12: Time Machine Journey to the Middle Ages
Age 12-13: Voyages of Discovery Simulation
Age 13-14:
Horatio Ramsbottom: Victorian Entrepreneur
Age 14-15: The Wall St. Crash: Playing the Stock Market
Age 15-16: James Spod: Undercover in Nazi Germany!
Age 16-17: The RISE of 20thC Dictators: "Which 20th Century Dictator are YOU?"
Age 17-18: The RULE of 20thC Dictators: "Which 20th Century Dictator are YOU?"
Best regards and feel free to contact me if I can be of any further help or support.
Russel
