World War One Simulation: Life in the Trenches

A brand new release of this popular decision-making game for GCSE History. In this game you will be a British soldier who joins the army in 1914 to fight the Germans. You will have to make decisions in tough circumstances. At the end you will be given a score. By playing this game you will learn about the conditions which soldiers lived and fought in, and the dangers they faced. There is a worksheet to go with this activity. EITHER print this off and write answers down in a book OR fill it in using a word processor and print it off when you have finished. You may wish to play the game through once without bothering with the worksheet, then go through for a second time getting the answers.
